Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using the Supermedal app or website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date on this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Eligibility and Beta Access

Supermedal is currently an invite-only private beta. To use it you need a valid invitation, and you must be at least 13 years old — or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher.

Because the service is in beta, it is provided for testing and evaluation. Features may change, break, or be removed, and data may be reset, as we develop the product.

Your Account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You may sign in using a one-time verification code or a supported third-party sign-in provider such as Apple or Google.

Achievements, Proof, and Medals

Supermedal lets you record achievements backed by proof. You agree to submit only truthful information and genuine proof. Fabricated, misleading, or fraudulent submissions are prohibited and may result in the removal of medals and termination of your account.

Medals are granted by an automated, AI-assisted process and, in some cases, human review. Grants are discretionary and are not guaranteed. We may decline, review, correct, or revoke a medal — including for error, abuse, or a violation of these Terms. Medals are for personal recognition and have no monetary value.

Acceptable Use

When using Supermedal, you agree not to:

• Submit false, fabricated, or misleading proof of achievement.
• Harass, abuse, threaten, impersonate, or harm others.
• Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems.
• Use the service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

Your Content and License

You keep ownership of the content you submit, including your messages and the photos you attach. You grant Supermedal a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display that content as needed to operate and improve the service — including processing it through our AI providers to power chat, recognize images, evaluate achievements, and generate your stories and medal designs.

Stories and medal designs produced from your activity are created using automated systems and may be edited or regenerated. You are responsible for the content you choose to submit.

Intellectual Property

The Supermedal app, website, branding, medal designs, and software are owned by Supermedal and its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding except as needed to use the service as intended.

AI and No Guarantee

Supermedal relies on automated AI systems that can make mistakes. Replies, image recognition, achievement evaluation, medal grants, and stories may be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not rely on the service for decisions where an error could cause harm, and remember that you are responsible for the information you choose to share.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. As a beta product, the service may contain bugs, be interrupted, or lose data.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Supermedal will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it — which, for the beta, is zero.

Termination

You may stop using Supermedal at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if needed to protect the service or other users, or as we change or wind down the beta. Provisions that by their nature should survive — including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability — survive termination.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Supermedal is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The specific governing jurisdiction and dispute-resolution process will be confirmed in the final, legally reviewed Terms.
